Partners in Wood was established in 1992 by Lee Saunders and is based in the Georgian town of Holt.

We create fine furniture, specialist cabinetry and bespoke joinery to the highest standard of craftsmanship. We undertake unique commissions from clients, architects and designers whether it be exquisite furniture for the home, architectural joinery or authentic restoration of period pieces.

We combine an assured professional service, dedicated design skills and a well-equipped workshop to ensure every client receives a personal service which is sensitive to their individual style and taste, and embraces both period and contemporary design.

Commissioning Furniture

The first step is for you to provide a brief of your requirements, i.e. what you want, what it will be used for, what its surroundings will be and any design ideas you may have. Providing photographs or simple drawings is particularly helpful. We will provide a quotation and then produce designs to discuss. This is an opportunity to ensure that the design fulfills your needs and aspirations.

Once we have agreed on a design commencement on the piece will start and a timetable for the work will be provided. At this stage a deposit may be required.

Upon completion we will deliver and install the piece with the same personal care to ensure you are completely satisfied with our service.
